The world circumstances have changed our work culture and many of us have started working from home.
The client needed a space for them to work and switch off from the rest of the home and yet feel like an extended part of the home
This apartment did not come with a space suitable for a 6 seater dining table, the balcony was an extension of the kitchen and dining nook. We extended the space and included the balcony to be a part of the kitchen area and transformed in into a dining space.
This balcony space located on the first floor of the building had to be sound proofed and enclosed so as to use the space. Once the enclosure was created, the space turned into a lounging space by the evening and a home office by the day !
Teenagers have very different needs than little ones. This balcony makeover was inspired by the young adult who needed a space to study and needed storage for his things separately. the windows have been kept large so that it can be used as a sit out area for the family.
Growing kids have different needs. This space need to evolve into an inspirational space for the young adult. It needed to house a space to read, study and inspire her with her art. The space is now her santuary.
The guest room of this home needed to be a space which can house guests occasionally and on other days it needed to serve the purpose of a teenager's room. Her space to study, practice her craft and store her essentials.
The clients had beautiful teak wood furniture and their only ask was that they don't want brown furniture. We did just that, we used up their old furniture and gave it a facelift with paint and a new headboard and wall panelling. The space looks like it never was brown !
The bedroom design was not conducive to spending time and couple found themselves retreating in the living space. We added lighting and warmth in the walls and added extra seating to the space making it inviting and cozy.
Sometimes minimal changes can be made to a space to give it a new look and make it functional. This home is a reflection of just that. We took the spaces and added only a few necessary elements and transformed the 2 bedrooms .
We transformed this kitchen for a young working couple, attending to all their needs. We added a lot of storage using cabinets, an extra counter and also a loft. Maintaining the rustic and organic charm, we increased the height of the counter and gave everything in the kitchen a designated space.
This house was designed a decade ago and need an upgrade. The darker contrasting colours on the furniture was creating visual clutter and we needed to lighten it by using lighter wood tones and dress up the walls to make the space feel minimal yet functional.
This home came with a builder grade kitchen which the clients decided to upgrade as it was not serving their needs. The kitchen was made larger with some civil changes and the back splash and cabinetry completely transformed this space.
Knowing we had to increase the seating space, we added statement chairs, changed the couch and also converted the shoe rack to serve a dual purpose of storage and seating. By pushing in the old tv unit, we managed to increase the space, add more versatile seating, a swing and storage shelves too! All in all, we made the space a conversation starter with the neutral furniture and decor!
In the living room, we added a pop of colour with a chair and a side table while keeping the decor very zen with plants, candles, lamps, jute curtains and a rug. Maintaining a beige and grey colour theme, we gave the dining area a statement panelled wall and a console for storage, while a mirror and lights anchored the entire space.
In this living room we kept the walls and tv unit as is and worked around them.We increased the seating by providing a more fluid plan to accommodate more space and people. While avoiding a centre table, we added a versatile trolley and side tables to serve the purpose. We gave the corners two statement floral chairs, and kept the couch neutral and textured. We also stuck to the colour scheme of taupe, brown and blue throughout!
A special transformation, that instantly takes you away to the beachside! With all the beachy and bohemian inspiration in place, we chose a white and blue colour palette, and got a customised, statement rugged wallpaper, to be the highlight of the room. We added a chest of drawers and an unconventional mirror along with a customised wardrobe, while also distressing the bed with a white shade and changing it’s panel to match the theme.
A space of solace and serenity, this duplex was a unique transformation that we absolutely adore! The bedroom spaces are located on the upper floors with a landing space. The bedrooms have been given a character each and celebrate a different style of design each. The landing space is a quite space for one to Pray / Meditate / Read or for Yoga. The spaces have been carefully designed to suit all the requirements and yet look aesthetic.
Old spaces have their own charm and comes with their own set of challenges. This room was originally built as an extra room but was being used as a bedroom for the daughters. With both of them working in the aviation industry the space needed to suit their needs now. We added some pieces of furniture, re-modified some pieces of furniture and gave this room not juts a facelift but also a functional appeal.
Yes you read the tittle correctly. Using colour in the correct way is crucial to your spaces, and this home is an example of just that. even though the space was filled with colour it looked unorganised and distracted. We provided the clients with a space that was colourful yet aesthetic and functional.
A space of solace and serenity, this duplex was a unique transformation that we absolutely adore!Modern with art deco, was the principal brief, which we worked on with colours such as white, gold and grey. We avoided overcrowding and maintained cleans lines. Since wallpapers play a major role, we gave the one in the living room a marble finish with gold accents. The console, chandelier and artfully created decor pieces steal the show in this completely transformed house!
This space had the bone structure of furniture in place, It needs to be personalised and dressed up. The client already had fixed furniture but the space lacked personality and charm. We have dressed and dolled up the space using products from Fulcrum and some from other stores and made it look and feel cozy and aesthetic. This project clearly shows how the right kind of accessories can make the space look personalised.
